PRIZe MONEY for top performers 

The prize money overview for the 2023 GF Yunnan competition can be seen in the overview below. There’s prizemoney for each stage, and of course for the general classification long distance. There will also be age groups of +40 and +50 as usual, for both men and women. There is also a team ranking (for details about the team competition, please read the competition regulations). Short distance has prizemoney per stage as well. All finishers will also receive a finisher’s certificate in gold, silver or bronze, subject to the number of stages completed (gold = finisher of all stages)

Details

  • The prize money is subject to the individual income tax law of the People's Republic of China, which shall be subject to the IIT rate of 20%. The OC will withhold the IIT of the contestants and pay the IIT to the National Tax Bureau on their behalf. Prize money winners can check their tax records through the IIT App three months after the event (the withholding company is also the event's executive company: Beijing Nordic Ways Management Consulting Co., LTD.)

  • The prize money shall be paid according to the achievement requirements of the competition. The results of all winners will be published on the official website 10 days after the event and prize money will be released after confirmation that there are no problems. If a cyclist is ruled by referee as foul or other cheating behavior, his/her ranking and prize money will be cancelled, and the following ranking will not be increased.

  • The valid period of prize money claim is 30 days after the end of event. i.e. all winners should submit the necessary information through event online manual before Dec. 10th 2023. on and after Dec.11th 2023, winners who has not submit their information or contact with the OC can be seen as waive their prize money.

  • Winners have the obligation to attend the prize giving ceremony. for those who has not attend the ceremony without permit from the OC can be seen as waive of their prize money.
