REGISTRATION FEE

Please see below - for reference only - the overview of the 2023 registration fees for all 4 stages or for each stage individually. Further below is the overview of the logistical packages and additonal details.

Participants should read the relevant documents carefully,understand the registration and participation conditions of the event, and understand price and cancellation & refund policy that will be implemented during the event. Make sure you can accept before your registration.

EXPLANATION FOR REGISTRATION FEE:

1. Event registration fee has no logistic service included.

2. Participants from all 1 stage will receive the following event souvenirs upon check-in/completion of the race:

  • (1) Race materials (including race manual, number plate, number book and deposit bag);

  • (2) One commemorative medal after each race;

3. Participants of all four stages will receive the following event souvenirs upon check-in/completion of the race:

  • (1) Race materials (including race manual, number plate, number book and bag);

  • (2) One souvenir jersey ;

  • (3) One souvenir product ;

  • (4) One commemorative medal after each race;

  • (5) One souvenir finisher's gift for the completion of all four stages;

  • (6) Gifts from sponsors.

4. Participants of all four stages will receive certain discount for registration fee:

  • (1) 50 Yuan discount for those who has participate 2023 Tengchong Challenge.

  • (2) 50 Yuan discount for those who has participated 3 times Yunnan Granfondo event in the past 9 years.

  • (3) above discount can accumulated.

  • (4)How to enjoy the discount: the registrant should pay full amount registration fee when register. The OC will search the database after registration and confirm that the registrant who meet the discount policy, then refund discount amount to registrant from Nov. 1st until Nov. 2nd.

5. Maximum entry to all 4 stages long distance is 800; Maximum entry to all 4 stages short distance is 200.

6. Registration form will close after 24:00 25th Oct. 2023. Or if the register participant number of each category has reached to the maximum.

EXPLANATION FOR THE PRICE OF LOGISTIC PACKAGE:

1. logistic package price includes below service:

  • (1) Hotel stay for 7 nights: check-in from Nov 4th 12:00am ;check out before Nov 11th 12:00am. breakfast all included.

  • (2) For package A/B/C Transportation service during event ( each participant can bring 1 bike only). no transportation service for package D.

2. The price difference of each package mainly comes from the difference of hotel and room type.

3. If registrants choose the single room service (A1/B1/C1/D1), they will have a King Size bed room as priority choice. Due to the hareware constraints of the hotels in certain cities, King Size bed room may be randomly adjusted to a twin bed room.

cancellation policy

Participants should read the relevant documents carefully, and understand the registration and participation conditions of the event,and understand price and cancellation & refund policy that will be implemented during the event. Make sure you accept these before you register for the event.

2.CANCELLATION & REFUND:

(1) Registration fee refund

  • Applying for refund on before and on Oct. 25th, 2023: the OC will charge 20% for cancellation service fee and refund the rest amount to applicants;

  • On and after Oct. 26th, 2023: no refund application for the event will be accepted by the organizing committee.

  • The OC will not mail the event material to applicants who has cancelled registration.

  • No reserved spot for the next year.

(2) Logistic product fee refund

  • Applying for refund on before and on Oct. 25th, 2023: the OC will charge 10% for cancellation service fee and refund the rest amount to applicants;

  • On and after Oct.26th, 2023: no refund application for the event will be accepted by the organizing committee.

3. CANCELLATION FOR MEDICAL REASONS:

There is no special rules for the applicants due to medical reasons. All refund applicants must follow the normal application procedures.

4.CANCELLATION FROM THE RESERVED SPOT

  • (1) The cancellation and refund request from those who has reserved entry qualification from previous years, all refund follow the policies of the registration year.

  • (2) Those who have selected a reserved slot for the 2021 event will still have the option to withdraw from the event or change the package type on September 16, 2023. If the application is not provided within the time limit, the applicant shall apply for refund after the event opens for registration, and shall comply with the 2023 refund rules and pay a certain amount of refund service fee to the Organizing Committee.

5.Registration is personal and cannot be transferred to any other person. Your passport must be showed when you check-in.

6.Special terms:

  • (1) If the event is cancelled due to force majeure (including but not limited to extreme weather etc.),the organizing committee will refund the registration fee in full to the original payment account of the participant. The organizing committee is not able to coordinate the cancellation process of transportation and accommodation for the time being, nor can it bear the loss of the cancellation of transportation and accommodation fees. Please register carefully.

  • (2) In the case that the event is suspend due to force majeure (including but not limited to extreme weather etc.) the organizing committee will not be responsible for the refund of registration fee or other cancellation cost for the change plan of travelling. Please register carefully.
