The online registration system for the 4th edition of Colourful Yunnan Granfondo Cycling Festival has now been opened. This year there will again be five stages, including a brand new race course for the final stage in Lijiang. Event date: from 5 to 11 November.

Miga and Solongo win Granfondo Yunnan

Both sides male and female yellow jerseys Myagmarsuren Baasaankhuu and Solongo Tserenlham underlined their dominance at this year's Granfondo Yunnan with a superb stage win at 3060m on the slopes of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in Lijiang. It was the ideal conclusion of our 3rd edition, according to multiple long-time participants the best ever.

Pu Jinxie outsprints Li Ni in Dali

After two years of consistent trying, Yuxi's own Pu Jinxie has finally managed to score a stage victory in Granfondo Yunnan. After 115km around Erhai Lake in Dali, he was marginally faster than 16-year-old talent Li Ni in a photo finish sprint.

Magnana and Miga rule on Mt Zixi

The participants got lucky in Chuxiong as the clouds had already dropped all their rain before the start of the short race climbing up Mount Zixi. Myagmarsuren Baasaankhuu took yellow over from Jia Zhichao, while Solongo Tserenlham grabbed the stage in the final metres.

Magnificent Miga fights back in Yuxi!

It is the Tour d'Exploits in Yunnan this year! After Jia Zhichao's superb 75km solo in Kunming yesterday, last year's GF Yunnan champion Myagmarsuren Baasankhuu must have thought "not with me" this morning and embarked on an incredible breakaway with his young Mongolian compatriot Tegshbayar Batsaikhan just 13km of 174km into the race.
